Nicholas Kähr

I was born in Chile to a Spanish mother and a Swedish father. I grew up in Florida, completed my high school and university studies in Spain. I have since lived and worked in Iceland, California, Sweden, and now Austria.

Constant movement shaped both my perspective and my photography. Drawn to wild, diverse, and powerful landscapes, I initially focused on landscape photography alone, but over time felt something was missing. By introducing people into these environments, I began exploring scale, story, and human connection within the landscape. This evolution naturally led my work into the travel and commercial space, collaborating with outdoor brands to photograph people and athletes in remote, demanding, and beautiful locations.

Today, my goal is to continue testing my creativity and expression through stills. Capturing remarkable people doing extraordinary things in extraordinary places.
